What this Privacy Policy Covers

Your privacy and your customers’ privacy is important to American Family Mutual Holding Company (HomeHubZone’s legal name, hereafter the “Company”). We have developed a Privacy Policy that covers the Company’s treatment of information that we collect when you use software, services and websites associated with or related to HomeHubZone products.

Collection, Use and Sharing of Information

The Company, via HomeHubZone, collects personally-identifiable information when you register for a HomeHubZone account, when you use certain HomeHubZone products or services, and when you visit webpages hosted by the Company related to HomeHubZone. HomeHubZone may collect this information on both individuals who use HomeHubZone to produce inspection reports (“Inspectors”), and on individuals who retain Inspectors to perform an inspection (“Customers”). For example, when a Customer registers with HomeHubZone, we ask for the Customer’s name, email address, mailing address and zip code. In addition, use of the HomeHubZone product provides us with information produced or collected about the home in question as part of the home inspection and inspection report production process.

The Company may send personally-identifiable information provided by Inspectors and Customers to other parties when: we need to share that information to provide the product or service requested; and when we respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process.

We may also use personal information for internal purposes such as auditing, data analysis, research, and to improve our products, services and customer communications. Examples of such use are:

  • Personal information we collect allows us to keep you posted on HomeHubZone’s latest product announcements, software updates and upcoming events. If you don’t want to be on our mailing list, you can opt-out anytime.
  • Personal information, as well as information collected via the inspection software, helps us create, develop, operate, deliver and improve our software and other services we provide.

Additionally, the Company will share personally-identifiable information with third parties and our Affiliates in order to follow up on the home inspection and to market and provide value-added services, including insurance on the home that was inspected.  Customer understands that unless Customer opts-out by clicking the appropriate box below, Company will disclose Customer’s name, contact information, inspected home address, and other relevant inspection data, to third parties for the purpose of marketing insurance products on the inspected home, including providing a quote for insurance or other offers on the home inspected. By purchasing or subscribing to HomeHubZone, Inspector understands and agrees that Customer information may be so disclosed. Customers can opt out of HomeHubZone sharing this personally-identifiable information with third parties and our Affiliates at any time by clicking “Opt Out of Affiliate Sharing” below.

In addition to the information you submit via HomeHubZone, the Company gathers certain anonymous data to help us better understand how our sites are being used and how we can improve them. This automatically gathered data includes your computer’s IP address, statistics about how visitors navigate through our sites, and information provided through the use of cookies. This information, which is automatically received by HomeHubZone, is recorded on the Company’s server logs and is used to customize the content you see, to fulfill your requests for services, and for research and informational purposes.


Your HomeHubZone Account Information is password-protected for your privacy and security. In certain areas HomeHubZone uses industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions.
